As much as I love traveling and enjoyed going to both Italy and Seattle, it sure does feel nice to be in my own bed and in my newly cleaned room- thanks to my mom, who capitalized on my absence by moving all of my furniture, but I have to give her credit, I really like my room now, perhaps even love? It's still in the works though.
I can't believe it's July already! There's still so much I have to do, so many people that I need to reconnect with before the doom and gloom of school!
Here's a quick list of what I need to accomplish (in no particular order):
1. Go thrifting at least once or twice more this summer. I went today with Ausrine and I found some terrific belts!
2. Finish Pride and Prejudice, The Devil Wears Prada, & Confession of a Shopaholic. Also read Twelfth Night, Ignatius' Biography (I got a copy from SILS and I'm actually quite interested in reading it.) and whatever else I can fit in, if I even get all of those done!
3. Hang out with friends- there's a long list of people that I want to see.3. Complete the Common Application for colleges.
4. Study for SAT Subject tests and write a couple of college essays.
5. Read the manual to my new camera, so I can use it to my fullest advantage.
6. PLAY TENNIS. So I can hopefully play singles during the season. I haven't played in a while and I definitely need to work on everything.
And there's more, but I don't feel like writing it out. I just have to get stuff done, I think I should follow Nike's advice: Just Do It.
Cheers!
SARAH!
ReplyDeletewe should go thrifting together.
oh and you made me think about actually reading ignatius' biography.
maybe, just maybe.
thrifting = hawt
ReplyDeletei've always heard about awesoem stuff people get, always have wanted to go
Tania! Yes thrifting with you would be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOn SILS I realized how little I actually knew about Ignatius, and that made me feel sort of bad and then they gave us the book and now I'm determined to read it... sometime.
And Conor, you should come and check it out too. Sometimes it takes a lot of work, sorting through EVERYTHING but then you find really great pieces. And it fun to laugh about the scary clothes that you see
Awesome!
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I also know pretty much nothing about him. Ahah..
Also, yes.
Thifting is great.
It's really cool when you find vintage photographs and stuff. It kind of makes you wonder why anyone would get rid of old family photos.
