ACT a Fool.

Okay, it's a little sad that I haven't posted anything in a month.
But, let's just forget that and let bygones be bygones.

So, I'm taking the ACT tomorrow- I know, try to contain your excitement.
I'm sort of dreading it, honestly. I really hate standardized tests, I believe there are only a handful of people who don't (it probably include Bill Gates, Alex Trebek, and Natalie Portman- what can't she do?) What bugs me the most are the time limits on each section, usually I can get through all the questions, except for the math. I take so long to do math problems, I'm pretty good at math, I even like it on occasion, but having to do 60 questions in 60 minutes is excruciating.
It also really bugs me that I feel so much pressure to get a "good" score on it. AAGH! It can be frustrating. I think I will just going to stop thinking about it.

Except I still need to study some more. So I guess I'll just go do that now, and try to forget my anger.

Cheers.

Thanks McKinley! I think it went okay, I walked out feeling better than I did in April, but it was still a struggle. Did you take it today too?

  4. I feel your pain Conor, well I felt it in March when I took the SAT and after such a tramatic and agonizing experience I thought I should just stay away from it in the future and stick with the ACT.

But the jury's still out on my experience of the ACT.
